Painful Hope

My 'Contained' brooch was exhibited at Lille, France and also at Madrid, Spain after applying to the open call 'Painful Hope' and was accepted to the exhibition that was curated by Juan Riusech.

"Let us pause before we reach the point of no return

from the human-made horrors of our time.

With compassion and imagination, we can contain and repair

the worst of the damage.

I have kept this leftover fragment of wood from

a carpenter’s workshop to remind me daily that our future is fragile

but all hope is not lost."
