The exhibition questions: the ambiguous relationship between art and design

and if a one-off object produced by a designer still is a 'design' object? And when a design object is placed in a white cube does it become an object of 'art'? 

With this in mind the curator Ms. Nilgün Yüksel invited me to showcase a piece from my Remains collection.

 

The exhibition hopes to draw attention to the ambiguous relationship between art and design & wants the viewers to raise questions about the boundaries of these two areas that seem to melt into one another. 

 

The exhibition brought together work by more than 35 artists that work with diverse materials, production methods and disciplines.
