Munich Jewellery Week - 16 Brooches

Jewelry Links is a 4-year old collective created by 16 Turkish contemporary jewelry designers. Over the years, the collective has introduced contemporary Turkish jewelry to an ever-growing audience by participating in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. Members of the creative collaboration add contemporary dimension to the traditional concept of jewelry by working  with unconventional materials.  

 

 Meanwhile lockdowns and curfews due to the Covid 19 pandemic made it difficult for Jewelry Links members to go to their studios to produce new work. Yet the members never stopped loving their past designs and decided to turn this difficulty into an unique collection opportunity. They chose ‘Brooch’ as the unifying theme. Each Jewelry Links member selected one brooch from their past designs to create this’16 Brooches’ collection.
