Munich Jewellery Week - 16 Brooches

Jewelry Links is a collective created by 16 Turkish contemporary jewelry designers in 2017. Over the years, the collective has introduced contemporary Turkish jewelry to an ever-growing audience by participating in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. Members of the creative collaboration add a contemporary dimension to the traditional concept of jewelry by working  with unconventional materials.

Lockdowns and curfews due to the Covid-19 pandemic made it difficult for Jewelry Links members to go to their studios and produce new work. Yet the members never stopped loving their past designs, so they decided to turn this difficulty into a unique collection opportunity for the Munich Jewellery Week online exhibition. They chose 'Brooch' as the unifying theme. Each Jewelry Links member selected one brooch from their past designs to create this 16 Brooches collection.
